New Year’s resolutions can be a great way to reflect on the past year and set intentions for the year ahead but their effectiveness often depends on how we approach them! Resolutions may provide an opportunity to assess what we want to improve or achieve. By setting goals and creating focus, we have something to work toward. And a new year feels like a natural time to reset and make changes. However, sometimes we aim too high or make vague goals, leading to frustration, and resolutions already fizzle out by February. Besides, not everyone feels motivated by resolutions, and that’s okay.

For me, a new year is like a blank page, waiting to be filled with dreams and adventures. This year, my family and I decided to try something different—something that would connect us and inspire each of us in our own unique way. Instead of setting resolutions, we each chose a single word to guide us through the year, like a compass to keep us focused, motivated, and grounded as life unfolds. For me, the word for 2025 is ‚BOLD‘. I know that I have already come a long way in embracing boldness, and now I am ready to take it even further. This year, I’m intentionally have chosen to take risks and embrace challenges with courage and confidence, and take action despite fear or uncertainty. To make the most of it, I aim to push me outside my comfort zone, say yes to opportunities, try new things, and take calculated risks. Let‘s see how that works out…

What’s your word of the year? Well, no matter how you step into 2025, might be with kindness, curiosity, gratitude, …  here‘s to an extraordinary new year, filled with happiness, love, adventure, and everything you‘ve been dreaming of. Happy New Year!
